Today, top leaders in the Webflow Community announced the first ever State of Flow, Online Creators Retreat taking place at Coastal Creative in St Petersburg Florida September 9-11.

The first ever community organized Webflow retreat will host designers, web developers and online creators from around the world with attendees traveling from France, Germany, Mexico, California, Texas, Oregon, Nevada, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, all over Florida, and new cities being added daily.

“It’s exciting to see something you might expect in Silicon Valley happening right here in our backyard,” Said Raymmar Tirado, lead organizer for State of Flow. “With the emergence of St Pete’s art and tech scene over the last few years, it seemed like the perfect place to invite the Webflow community for a weekend of tech, friendship, and fun in the sun.”

Unlike traditional tech conferences, State of Flow will prioritize hands-on learning rather than big choreographed stage presentations. “Think about it more like connecting in the hallways at a conference rather than the conference itself”, said Tirado. “The retreat will be a more intimate, conversation driven learning experience that will immerse participants.”

Attendees will spend the weekend in small group breakouts and hands-on workshops that will focus on how to be productive in a modern world and how to prepare for the future of online work. The event specifically aims to address the relationship between the freelance economy and an emerging no-code movement which is powering a new generation of visual software developers.

After two days at Coastal Creative the retreat will move to St Pete Beach for what the planning team is calling a “Webfloat”. A day of web driven conversations and floating on the beach while enjoying the Florida sun.
